Students are required to clean up and help maintain the cleanliness of the school facilities. They are asked to participate at times throughout the school year in the preparation and organization of our meals. The majority of our students qualifies for lunch and breakfast at no extra charge.
Access to personal cell phones during the school day is a privilege, not a right. Student cell phone access may be limited during school hours.
Students are expected to dress in a manner that shows respect for themselves, their peers, teachers, staff and adults. Our dress code includes:
- No hats, hoodies, skull caps, fashionable hats, or sunglasses unless pre-approved by administration;
- No clothing with illegal words or symbols of illegal activities, including gang-related paraphernalia;
- No clothing that exposes private parts or undergarments in any way;
- Pants for boys must have belt loops and must be at or above the hips.
Church Hill Academy will become involved with our students’ social media interactions when what is written, insinuated or pictured impacts the school or CHAT. Students may be involved in Church Hill Academy disciplinary actions based on such social media interactions.
